The 2019 edition includes updates in several areas including extensive new language regarding variable speed pumps; several revised definitions; new requirements for automated monitoring, inspection, and testing; as well as changes in monitoring of pumps during fire events, pumps installed outdoors, refill rates in tall buildings, multistage multiport pumps, and batteries used with diesel engines. This presentation will review the highlights of these changes.
